Inspiring Minds
The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History recently launched a new high tech exhibit entitled ” Inspiring Minds: African Americans in Science and Technology.” As an exhibit ” Inspiring Minds ” was developed to showcase scientific and technological innovations of various pioneers and trailblazers within the African American community, while engaging ” inquiring minds ” in hands-on, and interactive activities.
In the interest of promoting Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math within the African American community. The DLH Foundation has collaborated with the CHWM to kick off an activity called ” Science Saturday.” As an activity” Science Saturday ” will showcase contemporary African Americans pioneers and trailblazers in STEM related fields, as well as highlight scientific, and technological projects of students from the surrounding area.
If your school or organization has special STEM activities ( fairs, competitions, awards & recognition,etc ) that it wishes to showcase, please contact us promptly.
